The MB21/1/SHR mechanical connector has a factory fitted lower polypropylene shroud with a ‘snap on’ upper to fully insulate the assembled connector.

Datasheet

MB21/3, MB21/3/SHR Connector

The Sicame MB21/3 mechanical connector is designed for service branch connections on stranded or solid cable. The connector is manufactured in copper alloy for suitability of jointing both copper and aluminium conductor cores and comes complete with shear off 3mm AF grubscrews. The Sicame MB21/3/SHR mechanical connector has a factory fitted lower polypropylene shroud with a snap on upper to fully insulate the assembled connector.

Datasheet

MB21/1A hybrid (side entry)

Designed for service branch connections on stranded or solid cable. The aluminium connector yoke is electro-tinned as standard and is supplied with brass grub screws making it suitable for jointing both copper and aluminium conductor cores.

Datasheet

MB21/1A/SHR hybrid (side entry)

The MB21/1A/SHR mechanical connector has a factory fitted lower polypropylene shroud with a ‘snap on’ upper to fully insulate the assembled connector.

Datasheet

MB22/1, 22/2 & 22/3 brass (side entry)

Designed for service branch connections on stranded or solid cable cores. The connector is manufactured in copper alloy for suitability of jointing both copper and aluminium conductor cores.

Datasheet

P1 aluminium

A well established multi-purpose service connector for branch or straight-through connections, used extensively in general service applications, including street lighting.

Datasheet

P3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 & 9 + (H) aluminium

The ‘P’ and ‘P(H)’ range of connectors provides a well established method of connecting service cables to solid sector aluminium mains cables.

Datasheet

SS35/4 fully insulated, insulation piercing

Specifically designed to improve the level of safety during live jointing by eliminating the need to remove the core insulation.

Datasheet

UB2/1, 2/2, 2/3, 2/4 & 2/5 (heatshrink section)

Designed specifically for use with polymeric heatshrink insulation materials. When fully assembled the connector forms a smooth, contoured profile, free from projections and sharp edges, allowing the insulation to shrink evenly around the connection. The connector is simple to fit and the shear head screw system ensures that the correct clamping pressure is applied. A consistent connection is achieved without the use of specialised tooling.

Datasheet

US1, 2 & 3 aluminium

Designed to connect stranded circular or sector shaped services to three or four core stranded sector shaped mains conductors.

Datasheet

US5 aluminium

Designed to connect stranded circular copper services to either three or four core sector shaped stranded aluminium mains conductors.

Datasheet

WS2 aluminium

Designed to accommodate solid or stranded service conductors to a maximum of 95mm², from four-core stranded sector shaped mains conductors in the range 120-185mm².

Datasheet

WS3 aluminium

Designed to accommodate solid or stranded service conductors to a maximum of 95mm², from four-core stranded sector shaped mains conductors in the range 240-300mm²

Datasheet

WS5 aluminium

Designed to accommodate solid or stranded service conductors to a maximum of 95mm², from four core stranded sector shaped mains conductors in the range 400-500mm².

Datasheet

LVMS1, 2 & 3 aluminium

Designed to provide the end user with a cost effective method of jointing all types of LV cables using a single range of profiled mechanical connectors.

Datasheet

MB21/1 XL brass (side entry)

Designed for branch connections on stranded or solid cable. The ferrules are manufactured in brass for suitability of jointing both aluminium and copper conductor cores.

Datasheet

MB21/1A XL (side entry)

Designed for double service branch connections on stranded or solid cable. The ferrules are manufactured in aluminium alloy (tinned) for suitability of jointing both aluminium and copper conductor cores.

Datasheet

PCS1/1, 1/2 & 1/3 insulation piercing

Designed for live jointing, and offers an improved level of safety together with a convenient and reliable method of connecting most service cables in common use to three or four core solid aluminium mains cables. The connector is suitable for either single or double service configurations.

PCS2/1, 2/2 & 2/3 insulation piercing

Designed for live jointing, and offers an improved level of safety together with a convenient and reliable method of connection service cables to three core solid aluminium M.I.N.D. paper insulated mains conductors (CONSAC). The connector is suitable for either single or double service configurations.

Datasheet

US6, 7 & 8 aluminium

Designed for connecting solid circular aluminium and stranded copper service cables (to ESI 09-7) to stranded, paper insulated lead sheathed mains cables (to BS 6480). It is particularly suitable for connecting metric service cables to existing mains cables in imperial sizes, in the ranges given above. The connectors may be used on both copper and aluminium cables.
